MAHARASHTRA POLICY TARGETS AND INCENTIVES FOR EV FLEET
- Achieve 25% electrification of public transport in the six targeted urban agglomerations – Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati
- Achieve 25% electrification of fleet operators, fleet aggregators and last-mile delivery vehicles by 2025 in the six targeted urban agglomerations – Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati
- E-commerce companies, last-mile delivery/logistics players and mobility aggregators should submit an EV transition plan to the Transport Department, GoM
- All government vehicles shall be battery electric vehicles starting April 2022
- Fleet aggregators/operators will be able to avail the demand incentives for their fleet
- No permits required for e-autos and they will be subjected to the same city specific restrictions as auto rickshaws.
