FAQs and Queries

Hybrid and Electric Vehicles cost less to own and contribute to less air pollution because of their high fuel economy. Charging an electric vehicle can be as easy as plugging the vehicle into a 3-pring outlet at your home or using a charging station.

Demand incentive benefit will be passed on to the consumer upfront at the time of purchase of the EV itself by way of reduced price.

As with any new technology, the upfront cost of an electric vehicle is currently higher than its ICE counter. National and state governments are offering incentives and subsidies to help reduce the burden on consumers and increase the uptake of electric vehicles. Overtime, as the technology progresses, the purchase price of an electric vehicle is expected to go down. However, despite the higher initial purchase cost, electric vehicles can prove to be more economical in a long run than ICE vehicles due to lower fuel and maintenance cost.

A typical electric vehicle comes with water ingress protection which seals the electrical components and provides safety from any electrical hazard that might result from waterlogging or rain.

The current range of the electric vehicles per charge available in the country is enough to meet the daily needs of an average Indian driver (84km per charge for e-2W and 150-200km per charge for e-cars.
